We’re on a mission to be your fundraising partner
At Collective Sales, we believe that raising money should be as rewarding as the cause itself. Founded in 2019, our family-run business is dedicated to transforming how UK charities and groups approach fundraising—moving away from high-risk, volunteer-intensive events toward a model built on collective action, shared effort, and zero financial barriers.
We don’t just provide a product; we champion a philosophy. We believe fundraising works best when it’s distributed across communities, when supporters become active participants rather than passive donors, and when the process itself strengthens the organisations we serve.

Collective Sales focuses on the principles of community, quality, and impact.
Our candles are more than just a source of light; they are a symbol of hope, dedication, and the collective effort. Each candle is carefully handcrafted with premium ingredients, ensuring a product that you can be proud to sell and that customers will love to buy.
The inspiration behind Collective Sales
We didn’t start Collective Sales because we thought the UK was doing it wrong, we started it because we knew there was a simpler, more powerful way to do it right.
In Sweden, product-based fundraising is a beloved tradition and a natural part of growing up. Over 60% of schools and youth groups there run these types of campaigns every year. It’s a system built on community, trust, and ease, where supporters don’t just donate, they receive something beautiful and practical in return.
Bringing a Swedish Tradition to the UK Having seen first-hand how effective this model is, we wanted to integrate that same spirit into fundraising in the UK.
We know that working towards a goal together as a group is the most rewarding of experiences. That’s why we have designed a fundraising programme that is group-oriented and allows those in the group to participate to the degree they can.

Traditional models often rely on a small, exhausted committee of volunteers to plan elaborate events, bearing all the upfront costs, insurance risks, and logistical stress. If the event succeeds, the team is burned out; if it doesn’t, the organisation loses money.
Our “Swedish Way” offers a different approach.
Effective fundraising solution
Our model is designed to be risk-free and group-oriented, ensuring that everyone can contribute at their own pace while working toward a shared goal.
Through hands-on participation, young people gain valuable skills in teamwork, financial literacy, and communication. It’s an opportunity to develop confidence, responsibility, and real-world experience. Our vision is to make fundraising accessible and engaging.

Why one scent for fundraising?
Our philosophy: The power of collective action
We believe fundraising should distribute effort across communities, not concentrate it in the hands of a few. This isn’t just more sustainable—it’s more effective.
What Is Collective Fundraising?
Collective fundraising is a model where many people each do a little, rather than a few people doing everything. Instead of a committee organizing an event for passive attendees, you empower your entire community to become active fundraisers.
Here’s how it works in practice:
Rather than asking five volunteers to organize a quiz night for 100 people, you give 30 supporters something simple to sell within their own networks. Each person reaches out to their friends, family, and colleagues—people who already trust them and want to help. No one is overwhelmed. Everyone contributes what they can. The fundraising effort becomes genuinely collective.

Our Fundraising Candle: Lime, Basil & Mandarin
For our fundraising programme, we’ve selected one signature scent: Lime, Basil & Mandarin. This fresh, universally loved fragrance has the broadest appeal, making it easier for your group to sell successfully.
Looking for different scents? If you’re purchasing candles for gifting (volunteer appreciation, thank-you gifts, awards), we offer a beautiful range of other fragrances. Find them below to explore all scent options →
Why collective fundraising works
Distributes risk
When no single event carries all your fundraising hopes, failure becomes less catastrophic. If half your supporters don’t sell, you still raise money from those who do. There’s no “all or nothing” moment where months of planning either succeed or fail in a single evening.
Leverages network effects
Your charity might have 200 direct supporters. But those 200 people collectively know thousands of others. Collective fundraising activates those extended networks. A grandmother buying a candle from her grandson to support his Scout group is reaching someone your organisation would never contact directly.
Creates deeper engagement
When supporters actively fundraise rather than passively donate, they become more connected to your cause. They talk about your work. They explain your mission to others. They feel ownership of your success, this engagement matters.
Prevents burnout
When 30 people each do two hours of work, no one is exhausted. When five people each do 20 hours, burnout is guaranteed. Sustainable fundraising means distributing effort so liberally that no individual feels overwhelmed.
Builds skills across communities
In traditional fundraising, a few volunteers develop expertise while everyone else remains dependent on them. Collective fundraising means more people learn to fundraise, creating organisational resilience. When volunteers leave, you haven’t lost all your fundraising knowledge.
